Saw The Cable Guy, haven't seen that movie in a really long time and forgot how funny it is. One of Carrey's best films and highly underrated.

It was pretty hilarious. I remember hearing that Jim Carey was a real prick about his salary, and wanted like $10m or something for it.

Funny that, because Carey also plays a real prick in the movie.

Saw Sherlock Holmes last night. I'm not really sure how I feel about this one.... I liked some of it, but then I was really confused sometimes. (Which is sad, because no one else seemed to have trouble following it. Maybe I'm stupid?.... Haha!). I don't know...... :D

Saw The Dark Knight for the first time just recently. I liked it much better than Batman Begins. The villains were believably evil without seeming too over the top (thanks to some great acting), and the script was pretty tight throughout. The only thing I didn't like was Batman's voice. It made me laugh, it was so forced sometimes. Sounded like a bad Old Snake impression after smoking a roll of wet carpet.

Hhmm. Didn't hear about Carrey being a prick on the set of Cable Guy. Still, I like that one as much as Dumb and Dumber (I love that movie).
Say District 13B (saw a preview for the second one, so decided to check this one out). Pretty good action flick. The story is worthless but it's got some nice parkour scenes (David Belle plays one of the heroes). Worth watching for the action (just like Ong Bak for example). It's great that there are still movies made that features real stunts and no wire work or cgi.

I'd like to go to see Sherlock Holmes tomorrow but have low expectations because of my bias for the leading female actress.

Finally got to see 9. It was cute and sad and dark and I really liked it. I don't understand why so many people complain about the ending. I thought it was a good, rather hopeful ending. Perhaps I completely misunderstood the ending and that's why I liked it... >_>;;

Finally saw Avatar in 3D and I loved it. Could definitely see it again. It's just too bad you can't get that experience with your home entertainment setup.

The story didn't affect my impressions much since the majority of movie plots already feel excessively simple to me; there's only so much you can do with that time slot. I thought the characters and setting was great, and refreshingly vivid when both movies and games are increasingly adopting gritty earthen-tinted film.

There isn't really a leading female role, she's only in a couple of scenes. I heard she was in more, but they cut it down.

I saw Dear John. I went in thinking it was going to make me cry, (I even lightened up on my eye make-up)! but it didn't.... It was sad, but just not cry worthy. It was kinda to hyped up I thought.

Last film I saw at the cinema has been Avatar in 3D, was the second time seeing it.
The film was good don't get me wrong, the graphics and special effects were amasing.
I found myself believeing what I was seeing could possibly be real, just the storyline was lacking anything unique; the second time I really knew what exactly was happening and really... The storyline lets the film down.

Its your tradition story of love trumping conflict. Over at the failblog, a Pocahontas storyline was posted with just named replaces with names from Avatar... and the storylines were the same.

Still despite a lacking storyline its really popular and people are still seeing it every night, so yeah it is a good film, just need some better writers.

Next film Im hoping to see is Alice in Wonderland in 3D. <3 Tim Burton

I'm expecting Alice in Wonderland to have the usual Tim Burton/Johnny Depp cult following.

The last movie I watched in theaters was Avatar...

But since then my sister and I checked out Grave of The Fireflies from the library and got all misty-eyed from it. xD

Just watched RockNRolla with some friends. Interesting movie. If you like the Snatch or Lock, Stock movies then you will find some enjoyment in this one. Done by Guy Ritchie too.

People keep telling me I need to watch Moon with Sam Rockwell. Anyone seen this?

I saw it. The movie was not well-paced for me. No one really left an impression but Jude Law. Alice in Wonderland... I am such a child. I like Tim Burton/Johnny Depp. I absolutely loooooooooooved the interpretation of the Red Queen. OFFWITHHISHEAD!

Last few for me, had my little brothers watch Borat completely un-fast-forwarded, so yea, they are no longer innocent. (Like they were before.)
Watched The 6th Sense recently. Last time I saw it I was in 4th grade, and I pretty much understood the jist of it. This time around I was able to catch more of it. But I had to watch it with my brothers, which in all honesty they're the people you don't want to watch a movie with, 1 keeps asking "What'd he say? What'd he say?" the other laughs at anything that sounds like it could remotely be funny.
