Thanks, and likewise on the belated happy birthday. :]

I always use Google to get Celsius. Their built in converter means you can type "25 dollar to yen" or "4 liter to cup" etc right into your address bar and get the answer. You can abbreviate it too, like typing "30 c to f" to get 86F.

Long weekend this weekend, for Canadians at least. I don't know about other things though.

My cousin is a real life Indiana Jones. He's been traveling the world again for months and he's in Ethiopia right now to take photos and write stories. In a span of just a few days in the country he's had a number of dangerous encounters. First, two guys asked if they could follow him around while he took pictures. He agreed, and they behaved very friendly and talkative. Four hours later they start asking him to help them out with their rent. After he kindly refused, they decided to get physical and attack him. Police managed to step in and escort them away, but not without them shouting they'd kill my cousin before he left the country.

Couple days later, a different group of three guys try to rob him. My cousin came out with a bruised shoulder and all his belongings intact. One of the attackers came out with a bruised neck and no loot. Later that same day two more guys tried to rob him and failed. Thankfully he's carrying pepper spray for the time being. That's the downside to traveling as a photographer, you have to haul thousands of dollars of photo gear.

That sounds rather impressive.

Hmmm, I didn't know Canadians had "long" weekends. I generally thought they had no problems. Then Again I've never stopped to think about what Canadians do...wait, what DO Canadians do all day?

Well we usually crawl out of our igloos at about 5AM, and we hunt for whatever small amount of food the land will yield to us. At around 10-12 we have found enough food for the day, and spend a few hours cooking it and eating it. Then we play hockey for the rest of the day, and go back to sleep in our igloos. How I have the time to post here, I don't know.

Hmm, I was thinking Canadians stand around all day completely motionless with the same expression on their face.

I wonder why I can't seem to be captivated by games anymore. I come home from work and have like $1500 worth of games to play, and instead I just browse the interwebs. Hopefully this feeling of drought comes to an end with FF14. God I hope so.

My brother's fat PS3 does the same thing and although I've fixed it a few times it seems to be a recurring issue with those models. It never used to be. The fats worked fine until the slims were released, so I think something changed in the software. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It may have to do with the DNS caching because I've fixed it a few times by playing with the modem frequency channels. I don't have a foolproof fix though I'm afraid, and I can't test it on my slim.

If you're the fairy you're supposed to be shouting "Hey! Listen! Hey! Heeeeeeey! Listen!"

You won't just be playing a game with FFXIV. You'll be socializing with a bunch of half-insane people who talk as much as they play. Well, at least if you play with us. :]P

Well these days i have been busy with army work as well. I come home often feeling very tired so i try to play a little more WoW though it's gonna expire. And i play with my new cello every night.

I'm willing to give FFXIV a try though i fear the grinding.
Hmm...
